LOCATION: In the CO Project Farm and Kitchen Lab, Serra, Tomar

WHAT HAPPENS?

We begin the day with an interactive farm tour to introduce your family to the space. We then provide a self-guided challenge, including a garden hunt for lunch. Next, we guide you through preparing a vegetarian lunch with fresh farm produce. We will conclude the day with an interactive DIY workshop, like creating our own toothpaste or bath soap, to help your family adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.

Step 1: Welcome to CO Project Farm, including refreshments and housemade sweets

Step 2: Farm tour, including a meet-and-greet with our animal family

Step 3: Self-guided farm challenge, including garden hunt for lunch

Step 4: Vegetarian cooking class

Step 5: DIY sustainable living workshop, such as make your own toothpaste

Step 6: Wrap up the day's activities and farewells

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, farm shoes, farm clothes (i.e. clothes that can get dirty), water bottle, and EpiPen for any allergies. 

WHAT YOU TAKE AWAY FROM IT?

You and your family will bond and learn about small scale organic agriculture and vegetable-centric cooking.

COST: €65.00 per adult (12+ years of age)

Children under 12 years old are free of charge.

• Farm tour

• 1 cooking class, including lunch

The cost does not include:

• Travel expenses to and from the farm

• Sleeping accommodations

• Other products or experiences from the farm
